Every year Jacob's school has a week long event, usually called "Country Caravan" where each class studies a different country. The week ends with a parent night where you can visit their rooms decorated like each country, including food they would have eaten, etc. This year they changed the theme to "Americana" where each class got a different period in American history. Jacob's class got "The Colonial Days". They even had business cards made with their names and jobs (Jacob was a blacksmith).
