Ok, we all know he is a "special" kid :) While shopping for seeds for his science project, we found this little tiny flower kit - a little pot, peat pellet, seeds and instructions. He immediately picked one out and said this would be is new friend, and named her Grace. He is already reading to her (like he already does with the dogs - they are well versed in Junie B. Jones books). He also carries her around the house as he moves from room to room. He also declared we would be taking her picture every day so that when she dies, we can print al the pictures and make a "flip" book - the kind you flip through fast so we can watch her whole life.
